Planning Permission has now been granted : application ref 2016/02774/FUL
The proposed scheme to accommodate 800 pupils will be part funded by building some residential space for sale with possible community spaces also available.
Fulham Boys School has been temporarily housed on Mund Street on the Gibbs Green Estate since 2014. Planning applications were lodged in the Spring for temporary structures in an effort to make best use of the temporary site for the growing School.
The over subscribed school hopes to move in to the Fulham Police Station site in 2018 a move announced by Boris Johnson in September 2015. Only 35% of Fulham Police station building was in use. It is hoped that the site will be at full capacity of 800 boys by 2020.
