In partnership with the London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBHF), Lambeth, Wandsworth and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the Western Riverside Waste Authority (WRWA) has relaunched its Golden Ticket prize draws, giving all residents and community groups the chance to be rewarded for their recycling efforts.
Local community groups can make a clear commitment to recycling and be in with a chance of winning £2,500 for their efforts. To be nominated for a Community Reward, your group/organisation must meet the eligibility criteria (detailed in the Terms and Conditions) and complete a form on the WRWA website in advance.
Each borough will see one lucky winner receive a £500 cash prize, with eight more receiving £250. The first prize draw will take place on 16th December 2016 and a second draw on 24th March 2017. This year the resident who wins the big prize (£500) gets to decide which community group will receive £2,500 from a list provided by WRWA/LBHF. To get on the list LBHF Community groups will need to make 2 pledges on the WRWA website (as last year) and once LBHF officers are satisfied that they have completed their pledges, they will be put on the list to be considered by the winner.
