Festive celebrations return to Fulham Palace.
Fulham Palace is set to shine this festive season with a full programme of Christmas events for families and adults. From the much-loved Christmas fair and Father Christmas experiences to Christmas wreath making, the historic west London landmark promises a joyful celebration of the season.
A festive fair for all.
Taking place from 21 - 23 November, the Fulham Palace Christmas fair, kindly sponsored by Veeve London, will transform the site into a lively winter market, featuring a mix of indoor and outdoor stalls, live music from local choirs and seasonal refreshments. Visitors can browse a selection of gifts and treats from independent traders, enjoy mince pies and follow a festive trail through the Palace.
The Chaplain’s garden will also feature an illuminated Christmas tree walk, with trees sponsored by local businesses in support of Fulham Palace.
A special Twilight fair on the Friday evening invites adults to enjoy late-night shopping with a complimentary glass of fizz. Guests can browse handmade gifts from local artisans and capture the festive atmosphere in a free photobooth for an extra touch of cheer.
Meet Father Christmas in the historic library.
Families can experience the excitement of Christmas at Fulham Palace on 22 – 23 November and 6 – 7 December, when Father Christmas takes up residence in the historic library. Children will begin their visit with a creative crafting session with Paperbirds before meeting Father Christmas to share their Christmas wishes and receive a special gift. The visit ends with an exit through the Palace’s secret bookcase door; a delightful detail for all ages.
Wreath making.
Fulham Palace’s wreath making workshops return on 30 November and 1 December, offering a calm and creative way to start the festive season. Led by the Palace’s highly trained gardeners, participants will use natural materials foraged from the historic garden to create their own sustainable wreaths, with seasonal refreshments including mulled wine.
