Fulham Society members are warmly invited to THE FULHAM SOCIETY’s ANNUAL SUMMER PARTY on Fulham Palace lawn (or inside the café if it rains).

The story will be told by his biographer at the lovely Kyn care home, with refreshments provided.

A visit to Fulham Cemetery, back by popular demand and this time at the height of cherry blossom season on 12th April. Chairman of the Cemetery Friends group has written an article for us below.

We are hoping to arrange a visit to this interesting listed building of 1898-9 by the architect, William White (1825-1900), led by the Ven Richard Frank, Archdeacon of Middlesex.

The first is on Saturday 19th October, 2pm, in Fulham Cemetery.  Led by the new and enthusiastic Friends group who will share their latest research on the trees and history of the site.  

The second is on Thursday 7th November, 11am, along Hammersmith Mall (riverside).  Walking back in time with well-known local historian Keith Whitehouse.  

THE FULHAM SOCIETY’s ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held at St Dionis Church, Parsons Green (SW6 4UH) on Wednesday 6th November, at 7.00 pm.
 
The formal meeting will be followed by a talk by Rt Hon Greg Hands, former MP for Fulham & Vice President of the Fulham Society.

17th May: Fulham Society walk around Sands End, led by Caroline Macmillan. Tickets £5.

The annual general meeting included a presentation by the chairman of the activities of the Society, questions and discussions, presentation of the accounts, and an interesting talk by guest speaker Sue Pierson on the history of Parsons Green.
